Guadalupe Solis

Director of Environmental Justice Programs

Guadalupe Solís (she/her/ella) joined Cultivando as Director of Environmental Justice Programs in April of 2023. She brings relevant experience in community health needs assessment planning, public health surveillance, and health policy interpretation and analysis. Guadalupe has guided herself through her strong passion for increasing access to health care, advancing health outcomes, and addressing other barriers in the way of the health and wellbeing of her community. Throughout her work, she holds the experiences and voices of her people at the forefront - “nothing about us, without us”.

Guadalupe holds her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, and a master’s degree with a dual emphasis in Epidemiology and Health Systems Management, and Policy from the Colorado School of Public Health at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO. With her family originating from Atlixco, Puebla, Mexico she is a proud daughter, sister, sobrina, prima and partner. One of Guadalupe’s hidden talents is her avid love of martial arts (inspired by Bruce Lee) and she hopes to one day serve as a kickboxing instructor to women and children in her community. When not working, she loves to cook whole meals for herself and her partner, go on a hike or bike ride with her boxer, or spend time with her friends and family. One way she takes care of her health is through self-reflection and accountability to herself, as she only has one body on this earth.
